At Mazuwa Renewables, we want you to feel completely confident in your installation. Here’s how you’re protected.

Our Insurance

We hold the following cover as required by MCS, RECC and NAPIT:

  • Public Liability Insurance
    – Provider: Hiscox Underwriting Limited
    – Cover: £2.0 million

  • Employers’ Liability Insurance
    – Provider: Hiscox Underwriting Limited
    – Cover: £10.0 million

  • Professional Indemnity Insurance (for design and specification)
    – Provider: Hiscox Underwriting Limited
    – Cover: £0.5 million

Copies of our insurance certificates are available on request.

Workmanship Warranties

All installations come with a workmanship warranty that meets or exceeds MCS requirements:

  • Solar PV: at least 2 years

  • Heat Pumps: at least 5 years

  • Battery Systems: at least 2 years

This covers issues arising from our installation work (not just the products themselves).

Product Warranties

Your equipment is also covered by manufacturer warranties, which typically include:

  • Solar panels: up to 25 years (performance/output)

  • Inverters and batteries: typically 5–10 years

  • Heat pumps and cylinders: typically 5+ years

Exact warranty lengths depend on the brands chosen and will be confirmed in your quotation and handover pack.

Insurance-Backed Guarantee (IBG)

For eligible installations, we provide an Insurance-Backed Guarantee, so you’re protected even if we were to stop trading.

  • IBG Provider: QANW

  • Covers the workmanship warranty period

  • Your IBG certificate is issued after your system is commissioned
